SYCAMORE, Ill. – IDEAL Industries today releases the results of its 2026 Month of Kindness, an annual global initiative that mobilizes employees to support the communities where they live and work through its first-ever Month of Kindness Impact Report.
This year, the company had 100% site participation with employees across six countries participating in 18 organized activities, contributing more than 737 volunteer hours and helping positively impact 36,359 people, supported by more than $221,000 in investment from the IDEAL Industries Foundation and employee workplace giving.
What began as an annual Day of Kindness at IDEAL’s Illinois campus has evolved into a month-long global initiative spanning the company’s three businesses: Anderson Power®, Enatel®, and IDEAL Electrical™. Inspired by founder J. Walter Becker’s belief in building “ideal” relationships with employees, customers and communities, the initiative puts a century-old principle into action on a global scale.

Putting Purpose and Values Into Global Action
At IDEAL Industries, Building an IDEAL World™ means putting the company’s values into action. As one of IDEAL’s five core values, kindness shapes how the company engages with employees, customers and communities. Month of Kindness brings that commitment to life through locally driven action across IDEAL’s global businesses.
“Our values only matter if they show up in how we operate,” said Chris Baldwin, CEO of IDEAL Industries. “Month of Kindness gives our employees around the world the opportunity to turn those values into action, responding to the needs of their communities and contributing in ways that are meaningful to them.”
