IDEAL Introduces Installer–Friendly Compression Tool for Coaxial Cable Terminations

SYCAMORE, IL, November 8, 2006 — IDEAL announced today the Economy Compression Tool, a cost-effective method of permanently terminating RG-6 and RG-59 coaxial cable with compression-style F-Connectors.

Approximately 30 percent more compact than traditional models, the new tool is equally sturdy, making it perfect for commercial usage in home theater, CATV, satellite signal delivery and other video system installations.

The tool's easy squeeze, single-hand action delivers 360° full-radial compression of connectors to achieve consistent terminations that hold true for increased signal clarity and enhanced pull-out strength. An adjustable nesting fixture accommodates most brands of compression connectors, minimizing the number of tools the technician must carry.

The IDEAL Economy Compression Tool (Part #30-633) is immediately available.
