SYCAMORE, IL, February 1, 2010 – IDEAL Industries, Inc., one of the electrical industry's pioneers in wire termination, today announced expansion of its Buchanan® brand lineup with the new B-Twist™ wire connector.
This next generation connector features a rounded "dial-top" for faster fingertip starts, along with a deeper skirt and a square-wire spring that enhance connection security, especially with over-stripped wires. Low-profile swept wings improve box fill, plus add torque on large wire combinations.
Buchanan B-Twist™ wire connectors accept wire combinations ranging from #18 to #8 AWG, effectively eliminating the need to purchase both red and yellow connectors. They are available in Jars of 500 (BT2-500JR) and in barrels of 25,000 (BT2-SK). B-Twist connectors are UL Listed and CSA approved.
The B-Twist joins Buchanan's growing line of industry-standard connectors that include the B-CAP®, WireTwist™ and WingTwist™.
